Black Female Entrepreneurs
This topic is dedicated to my “Sisters-In-Business”. I’ve highlighted a few, but there are so many more to include you. If they can, you can!
Before you can grow your business, you must first understand theprofit potential of your industry and assess your financial position. Engage in market research and identify all the costs involved to bring your product to market (don’t forget about your labor costs). This will give you the information you need to arrive at thebest price for your product or service. Unfortunately, many women-owned businesses don’t generate high revenues because they have not identified the right price or audience for their product or service. Work with a certified public accountant (CPA) to help you create financial statements that will help you to discover revenue-generating opportunities and cost reduction strategies for your target audience.
~Black Enterprise
Throughout history, we have been able to learn from amazing Black Female Entrepreneurs like Opray Winfrey, Rihanna Fenty, Beyonce Knowles and Madame CJ Walker just to name a few.
These are some of the most strongest and driven business owners. They are courageous, strong-willed, driven, and beautiful. Most are the first in their families to be successful and they pave the way for future generations.
Women make up 46% of the Black Entrepreneurs. Black Female business owners are the highest percentage of female business owners. Being a Black Female Entrepreneur is one of the most exciting and rewarding things I could ever do. To make sure you not only start your own business and grow your business putting together a financial game plan is essential to success.
